9. FAO Schwarz' Make-My-Own-Monster?

Okay. I don't actually want to spend $249 dollars on a ridiculous toy that I would quickly get bored of, but you must take a look at this genius idea.

FAO Schwarz is now offering A Make-My-Own-Monster Custom Design Kit that puts EA's Spore to shame. Draw a cute, scary, ugly, or just plain weird creature with the art kit sent to your door, fill out the beast's personality questionaire, send it back, and your  20" tall, 2D plushie monster comes back in the mail exactly as you drew it. AMAZING. They then proceed to sell your designs for $18 each, and I doubt you see any profits.  Overall, this would make a great gift for the right recipient (and giver, considering it costs a quarter thousand dollars!) But, like I said before, TUCL is above price tags.

8. Flud Tableturns Watch

I still love watches. And this watch speaks for itself. At $80, music lovers should really take a look at Flud's Tableturns Watch.

It sports a gold, square casing, a black leather band, and veritable sexiness. Caution: compliments will be unavoidable when wearing it.

Everything costs too much nowadays. And that's why someone invented the Frying Gun Egg Stencil.

Really though, $7 for endless amusement sounds good to me. If I had a kitchen at my disposal, I would definitely make egg guns all day. Nothing says "bad-ass" like eating guns for breakfast. Oh, and it cuts cookies too. What can't it do?

This is an amazingly designed piece of furniture, no doubt. It's called the Mobelform Doc Sofabed. But the price leads me to wonder: who is going to buy it? Usually, a device like this would be used to save space, because someone couldn't afford a bigger space: if you're spending 9K on a couch, you can afford to live wherever you want. I think this is designed for people who live in flats in New York, London, or somewhere else like that. But, The Ultimate Christmas List does not price discriminate.

Did I mention I'm a DJ? Well, I am. And when I'm on the go, at a friend's house, or at one of my fraternity's parties, I don't want to lug around a pair of turn tables. I know this product isn't for the faint of heart, but for the DJ extraordinaire or someone looking to get into the mobile DJ market (or someone that just wants to turn heads), this is the must have product of the year.

This is the Pacemaker system by Tonium. It has some ridiculous stats, but the bottom line: its a complete DJ system in your pocket. 120 GB, 18 hour (playback) or 5 hour (mixing) battery, a big circular track pad, and 166 ppi screen resolution, two audio outputs (enabling headphone preview) and a cool LED crossfader, its a solid piece of hardware. At $875, few people are going to actually buy them, but they seem like tons of fun for those who can afford to cough up that much scrilla.

Say hello the the Prada 2 by LG. It's A full QWERTY Slider with a 3 inch touch screen. It has two cameras: a five megapixel camera for pictures, and a front mounted camera for video chatting. It has 3G capability, and haptic feedback. What else could you need in a phone?

The Link is not only a stylish looking designer watch - it is also a bluetooth companion to your phone. Silence calls, preview text messages, and see caller IDs all from your wrist.

I have looked extensively around the internet, and although it was supposed to have a November release date in Europe, I can't find anywhere online (that is semi legitimate) that is selling the phone or the watch. Based on a few prices, I'm guessing its going to cost around $1300 ($800 for the phone, $500 for the watch) to get these two in your clutches (if you need it unlocked and shipped to the U.S., like me.) 

When it comes to the battle of the smart phones, it now comes down to this:

Blackberry Bold? Psh.

iPhone? Not quite...

Prada 2? Must. It's the new iPhone iKiller, Blackberry Basher and Windows Mobile Mutilator.

My iPhone is beat up. I mean, seriously wrecked. I had a hard shell case for my phone - in fact, the shell was so hard that when dirt or sand or something got stuck inside the case with the phone, it was done for.

So, I removed it from its case. And proceded to drop it a few times.

Anyways - that's why some genius invented Power Slider. It's a "durable, lightweight hardshell construction with soft-touch coating". NICE. Put an anti-glare guy on your phone, and you've got a beast.

Oh wait - I forgot to mention that it doubles your battery life. And is Apple approved. And you can sync it without taking it out of its case. ..... Need I say more? At $100, it might hurt the check book a little, but it's probably worth it. Christmas is Christmas. (...even if you're just pretending it's Christmas.)

I love crazy watches. Although Rolexes are great and all, the classic styling of "luxury" watches means its hard for an individual watch to stand out.
